Integrated Curriculum & Academic Framework

Academic Architecture

Student One Curriculum Overview

The Student One Curriculum is an integrated framework harmonizing four pillars: National Standards + Islamic Values + Distinctive Programmes + International Competencies. Through this approach, we nurture students who are academically competent, grounded in Islamic faith, independent, creative, and globally prepared.

Pillar 1

National Curriculum (KurNas)

The National Curriculum forms the foundation of academic learning, ensuring all students achieve national educational standards with an optimal balance:

  • 50% Theory: Developing conceptual understanding and knowledge mastery.
  • 50% Practice: Meaningful and applicable learning experiences in laboratories and field projects.
  • TKA (Tes Kompetensi Akademik): Regular strengthening and objective measurement of academic milestones.
Pillar 2

Student One Islamic Curriculum

Reinforces Islamic values, spiritual devotion, and daily worship habituation:

  • Qur’an for Tahfidz & Tahsin: Target-based memorization with certified Tahfidz mentors and proper makharijul huruf.
  • PAI (Islamic Education): Aqidah, Fiqh, and Islamic history translated into daily adab and noble akhlaq.
  • Communicative Arabic: Practical spoken and written vocabulary integrated into school culture.
Pillar 3

Student One Distinctive Programmes

Equipping students with practical competencies and real-world problem-solving abilities:

  • Inquiry & Discovery Based Learning (IDBL): Student-led questioning, research, and collaborative project demonstrations.
  • Practical Life Skills: Everyday independence, culinary arts, gardening, home economics, and emergency first aid.
  • Adiwiyata National Program: Environmental conservation, recycling initiatives, and ecological stewardship.
  • Personal Indicators of Development (PID): Holistic monitoring of psychological, social, and emotional growth.
Pillar 4 (International)

Cambridge International Curriculum

Broadening horizons and building global competencies through Cambridge Primary and Secondary standards:

  • English as a Second Language: Immersive bilingual instruction fostering spontaneous and articulate global communication.
  • Cambridge Mathematics: Emphasis on conceptual logic, spatial reasoning, and real-life mathematical modelling.
  • Cambridge Science: Hands-on inquiry, scientific experimentation, and critical deduction.
  • Cambridge Checkpoint: Diagnostic international benchmarking at key progression stages.
Developmental Journey

Four Developmental Curriculum Phases

Instruction is calibrated progressively according to each child’s age and developmental stage.

Phase 1

Foundation (Year 1)

Focus on school readiness, positive habits, BTQ (Quran reading/writing), BTL (Latin reading/writing), and early life skills.

Phase 2

Progression (Year 4)

Competency consolidation in Quran, English, Math, and Islamic practices via Checkpoint diagnostics and tailored interventions.

Phase 3

Vocation (Year 6)

Preparing for secondary education transitions: advanced Quranic mastery, public speaking in English, and practical life competencies.

Phase 4

Test & Assessment

Formative Assessment (AfL), Summative Assessment (AoL), and TKA benchmarking to evaluate progress and guide enrichment.
